This month has been gone so quickly in Elaine’s class. The boys and girls have enjoyed learning new topics in the different subjects. We learned about our local area. We researched about the River Broadmeadow and plotted the route from our school to Ashbourne playground. In art we examined Andy Warhol’s art and we created an autumn themed print inspired by his pieces. Maths week was another fun week, we used our maths eyes to create super 2D posters and played some challenging maths games in the hall. We enjoyed taking part in our daily “Drop Everything and Count” and finished at 176, 514!! We took a few big leaps by counting in two’s, ten’s and thousands! We are looking forward to our rest at mid -term and we are excited about returning in November.
