December in Áine’s 4th class

Home / December in Áine’s 4th class - December 31, 2021 , by ainemurray

We had a really lovely end to 2021 in our class! In SESE we explored Antarctica and Tom Crean. In PE the children showed amazing talent when performing dances. We learned the traditional Walls of Limerick, as well as explored creative ways to tell story through dance, where we saw Fairytales, the Circus, Star Wars and the Pirates of the Caribbean! We created winter wonderland scenes using shades of blue in Art.

We focused on the theme of Winter in Gaeilge also. Here you can read the poem “Fear Sneachta” which we were learning.

In Drama we created scenes of meeting the Man on the Moon, a theme that also inspired some of our art!
