September in Katie’s Fifth Class

Home / September in Katie’s Fifth Class - October 8, 2020 , by admin

We are all delighted to be back in school and have had a very busy few weeks. We have all adapted very quickly to our new school routine.

We created self-portraits in Visual Arts lessons. See if you can recognise anyone!

We also learned about a famous artist, Henri Matisse, who was renowned for his collage work. The boys and girls created name collages using a range of coloured card.

The children really enjoyed our History lessons. We learned all about Grace O’Malley, the infamous pirate queen. The boys and girls completed lots of different writing activities based on her adventurous life.

A huge congratulations to everyone in our class who received their pen licence in September! Maith sibh!
