The Dyslexia Association of Ireland is organizing a one- day course in Dublin on Saturday April 27th for parents on dyslexia.
Topics covered will include:
- What is Dyslexia?
- Support Strategies – What Parents Can Do
- Assistive Technology
There will be a split session on specific supports at primary level and secondary level. The information days aim to:
- Give parents an overview of dyslexia in the context of the Irish education system
- Provide parents with the key information they need to act as advocates on behalf of their children
- Equip parents with some practical strategies they can implement themselves to help their children
The fee per parent is €60 for DAI members and €85 for non-members. Tea and coffee will be served mid-morning but lunch will not be provided. Pre-booking is essential.
