October in Robert’s class

We’ve had a very busy month here in Robert’s Senior Infants.

We’ve been working very hard at our Literacy Power Hour and our Maths activities each morning and earned lots of stamps for our good work.

We had great fun for Maths Week and discovered that maths isn’t just something we do in school each day but it’s all around us in the environment. We went on a maths trail around the school investigating and counting.

This week we’ve been learning a bit about Autumn. We looked at Oak trees, Horse Chestnut trees and Sycamore trees. We had lots of fun with the sycamore Helicopters.
